I grew up in Nigeria with a Danish mother and a Nigerian father. When I was seventeen, I moved to Denmark to study engineering. I first started designing lamps in 2013, but I’ve always been interested in designing new products. Designing lamps is a hobby for me (a very intensive hobby!) In my daily life I work as an R&D project manager in a medical device company.

I truly believe that creativity is stimulated by embracing the constraints you face. In lamp design, the constraint I face is turning a flat sheet of wood into a three dimensional lamp. In my daily life, my constraints are that I have a family with four young children and a day job which consume most of my time. Embracing those constraints – means waiting until the kids have been put to bed and then unleashing my creative impulses on the computer..
